mynorfolkguide.co.uk started as a printed village guide for Burnham Market on the North Norfolk Coast.
Media8 was approached by the Traders Association to produce a guide for the village to help locals and tourists know what the village had to offer and to encourage new faces to visit the village.
The first guide was produced in 2006 and had a very good reception followed in 2007 with the second year’s guide having an even better one.
Sophie Jewry, the owner of media8, has been on the committee at the Fakenham Chamber of Trade, has set-up various local networking groups and is a small business owner herself and knows how important local businesses are and how important it is that we work together to promote ourselves and our towns and villages.
With the town guide for Holt coming out in 2008, the next edition of the Burnham Market one too it made sense to create a website to compliment the printed guides.
